Budapest City Park ice rink open and awaits visitors
The Budapest Park ice rink, the largest continuous ice rink in Europe and one of the most beautiful sights in Budapest has reopened this Friday, officially starting this year’s ice-skating season.
According to MTI, the ice rink will receive visitors with trained staff and a high-quality equipment park, including 2,000 pairs of skates for rent.
In addition to the general public, the ice rink also awaits the youngest age groups – with a well-trained teaching staff helping kindergarten and school groups. It can also be rented for different sports and corporate events.
The tickets – the price of which has not been changed for years – can be purchased online HERE.

You can buy tickets in-person at the ice rink, but considering the current epidemiological situation, it might be safer to purchase online. Also, if you buy your tickets on the web, you do not have to wait for the queue, you can enter through a different gate using the scanners located in the middle of the entrance, they wrote.
In the first phase, two-thirds of the 12,000-square-metre ice rink will be available for those looking to play sports and relax.
Using masks inside the building is mandatory, and recommended on the ice rink.
